Show Dates and Tickets

So you’d like to see Balloon Plays?

Balloon Plays is appropriate for all ages – although very young children (under 5) may not be able to sit for long enough, and balloon popping could startle some.  The show is innocent enough for kids, and quirky and magical enough for adults.

Tickets are available at the CapFringe website here or by calling the box office at 866-811-4111.
Tickets will also be available at the door starting 45 minutes before each show, cash only.
All ticketing is handled through the Capital Fringe box office; please contact them if you have questions.

Tickets are $17 each plus the one-time purchase of a $5-$7 Fringe button, which acts as admission to the Fringe festival as a whole.  (The button is $5 on or before July 10, and $7 afterwards.)  Various cheaper package deals will be available, such as the Foh-Ty pass which gets you four tickets for $15 each – tickets good to any show at the festival.

Introducing: Balloon Plays at Capital Fringe 2014

Coming to the Capital Fringe festival in July 2014: Balloon Plays!

Three clowns find themselves in a world of balloons, before an audience of both children and children-at-heart. Each wants to tell their own story within the magical landscape. Come to play, come to pop. Balloons can be anything.

This fun and Fringey work of theatre will be semi-devised – built up from a script/ inspiration from playwright Brett Steven Abelman.
It will be directed by Elena Day,
and feature Nora F. Achrati, Rachel Hynes, and Kolleen Kintz as the clowns.

Our stage manager is Cody Whitfield, and our assistant stage manager is Rachel Cherdak.  Our clown consultant is Matthew Pauli.

Balloon consulting from April Gomez of April’s Twisted Entertainment.

Also featuring original music (and sound design) from Sam Cooper and Michael Stettes, of Sam Cooper and the Sleepwalkers.

Stay tuned for more information and images!
